Privacy, without the puzzle.

dork.wtf is a MayoFlux live-trivia service. You do not need an account to create or join a room.

What we process

• Room topics, settings, generated questions, host credentials, player display names, answers, and scores needed to run a game.
• Basic network and device information in temporary security controls and standard server logs, including information used to prevent abuse and excessive room creation.
• An email address only when a host asks us to send a finished-game summary.
• The room and question context attached to a content report. Reports do not intentionally include the reporter's name, IP address, room secret, or host token.
• Anonymous lifetime totals, such as questions generated and games completed.

How we use and share it

We use this information to operate rooms, calculate scores, prevent misuse, deliver requested email summaries, investigate content reports, and keep the service reliable. Topic and question context may be processed by the configured AI provider to generate trivia. Email delivery is handled by Resend. We do not sell personal information or use room activity for targeted advertising.

Retention

Live room data is held in server memory and expires automatically within 48 hours. Host sessions expire sooner or with the room. A requested recipient address is sent to the email provider and is not saved in the room record. Security logs are retained only as needed for operations and abuse prevention. Content reports may be retained as needed for moderation, safety, and legal compliance.

Your choices

You may use a nickname and avoid entering an email. Because there are no user accounts, room data disappears automatically rather than requiring an account-deletion request. For a privacy question or a report-removal request, contact privacy@dork.wtf and include the report receipt if you have one.

Children and changes

dork.wtf is a general-audience trivia service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this notice when the service changes; the effective date above will be revised.
